Gyrokinesis

The core of Juliu Horvath’s methodology is Gyrokinesis®.  Multidimensional spinal movements are performed on a stool, on the floor and standing and are designed to gently work the joints and muscles. The rhythmic movements and their corresponding breathing patterns stimulate the body’s internal organs and neuromuscular connections.

Gyrokinesis class

Whilst based on some traditional yoga postures Gyrokinesis® movements are performed with fluidity and are not held for periods of time. The low-impact rhythmic exercises open and release the centres of the body awakening the senses and energy pathways. The body’s architecture is realigned as movement patterns are re-educated, generating improvement in kinaesthetic awareness and symmetry. Regular participation in Gyrokinesis® sessions dramatically alters body shape by producing long, lean, toned muscles.
